Headquartered in Houston, Texas, GDT is designs production logging, and
well-inspection technology that provide oilfield services teams with the flexibility
of modular integration with their current inventory. Their tools provide realtime
data acquisition via onboard memory storage.
As a new entrant into the oilfield engineering services arena, GDT lacked the
awareness. The brand identity was designed around the visualization of downhole
technology and its relatability with field personnel. The messaging was formulated
to convey GDT's aspiration for staying at the forefront of technological expertise,
its capabilities, and service area. The completed logo design was staged into real
world environments to validate feasibility in various applications.
